In 1998, Staples Marketing’s work for HUD/FHA Fresno’s Energy Efficiency Mortgage program led to our first contract with California Public Utilities Commission
Since then, Staples Marketing has provided comprehensive marketing and outreach for many utility, CPUC and local government energy efficiency and demand side programs
In 2003, we partnered with the County of Kern, City of Bakersfield and PG&E to develop and implement one of the first local government partnerships in California.
In 2007, Staples Energy was founded to provide audit services, customer education, and the direct installation of energy efficiency measures and engineering support for residential, commercial, institutional and golf development clients.
In 2007, Staples Energy added engineering services for Energy Efficiency projects
In 2008, Golf Resource Group located in Phoenix, Arizona, joined the Staples Group of Companies to provide sustainable golf course design services that are unique in their approach to energy efficiency and water conservation.
In 2010, Staples Energy added a contract to conduct energy efficiency improvements for the PG&E Middle Income Direct Install (MIDI) program
In 2010, Staples Energy conducted a marketing and outreach campaign for the City of Salem, Oregon
In 2011, Staples Energy designed marketing programs and plans for the City of Fresno, California and Sarasota County, Florida
Today, Staples Energy has more than 100 employees among its offices in Pewaukee, WI; Phoenix, AZ; Bakersfield, Salinas and Roseville, CA.
