Staples Energy assists commercial/industrial users:

  • Understand why energy efficiency and conservation is a smart investment
  • Establish baseline use and identify savings opportunities
  • Target large savings with maximum ROI

Today it is more important than ever…

… to find opportunities for cost savings, identify smart investment and lighten your carbon footprint. Staples Energy has spent a significant amount of effort understanding how to identify quality, high impact energy projects and prime energy savings customers. Our #1 priority is to take on projects that present a clear “win-win” for both parties. In doing so, we only assist clients that are large energy users with a high potential for large savings with immediate impacts.

Large energy users have the greatest potential for savings but also have the greatest need for a robust analysis of their energy use. As a result, they require a team of energy specialists to take a comprehensive look at their energy use to establish a baseline and determine which investments will provide the quickest payback.

Staples Energy uses a systematic approach to look for energy (and dollar) savings potential. Some of the items we look at include:

  • Energy conservation opportunities
  • Energy efficiency opportunities
  • Time-of-use management
  • Demand response coordination with utilities
  • Self-generation
  • Retrocommissioning

We look for the “low hanging fruit” in every facility we assess. These areas generally exist in the lighting, HVAC and operations. Experience tells us these areas deliver very quick payback without a large investment.

  • Large industrial uses such as cold storage, manufacturing plants and grocery stores
