Program Design and Management

Direct Install (DI) programs are the lifeblood of energy efficiency portfolios. The Staples Energy staff has experience, capacity, and flexibility on our side to achieve a program’s savings goals. We offer full-service program design and implementation, including incentive portfolio design, trade ally recruitment & training, boots-on-the-ground Energy Advisors, bi-lingual call center, marketing & outreach, invoicing, and incentive processing services. We also conduct quality assurance calls and visits to track successes and challenges.

CREATING JOBS

We enroll, train and motivate contractors to participate in energy efficiency direct-install programs. Local contractor networks extend coverage geographically and to hard-to-reach customers. We also hire and train local employees as needed. In addition to expanding the reach of the program, they offer further insight into the local market. A majority of our Energy Advisors are bilingual.

TAKING THE PULSE

Daily tracking and data management put critical program info at our fingertips. By constantly assessing all aspects of program performance we can make immediate, real-time improvements. We also use our database to further engage contractors by identifying ways in which they can enhance their services and find more customers.

Technology is constantly changing. Our team reviews the latest energy efficiency technologies and works with manufacturers and distributors to determine which new measures are the best fit for our programs.

CHANGING MINDS AND INFLUENCING BEHAVIOR

We hone in on the particular needs of the target market when designing program promotion and customer enrollment strategies, combining proven marketing and outreach activities with “boots on the ground.” Our seasoned team of Energy Advisors provide grass-roots canvassing, conduct the energy audit or assessment, identify opportunities for saving energy and overcome market barriers. For example, our Energy Advisors use our Energy Snapshot® to calculate potential cost savings and provide customers with a payback analysis to document the return on their investment.
